All of you must be knowing that chargesheet has been prepared against Kasab, its a novel in itself. 5000 pages, which might be containing complex legal teminology. He has been booked for 7 charges one of them is on the second line of this article.
You must be knowing that Justice system in India is quite bad, or wait, we can call it horrible. It takes ages for a person to get dates for hearing, leave the verdict alone. The problem is with the shortage of staff in the judiciary which is overloaded with work. In such a case, why does Police file cases for such petty charges which hardly concern anyone? This time can be used by general public for their hearings.
Who cares whether they came with a platform ticket or not. If they bought a platform ticket, then would have less people lost their lives? We have so many cases of women abuse, dowry related disputes which carry more sense. Justice delayed is Justice denied.
Book Kasab under the stringest terms of the law and don’t make a mockery of the judicial system by such useless charges which just eat up the precious time of the already overloaded judiciary.
Yeah…Indian Justice System sucks, and in fact bureaucracy sucks. It takes a lots of paperwork to get anything done. Thanks to corruption of Netas too.
This fundamentalism thingy first started in America by some businessman to promote his business taking aid of religion to do it. But now what once started as a tiny spark has become a conflagration throughout the world.
We are destroying the carriers and not the the actual cause of it. It’s like killing mosquitoes everytime you see one but completely overlooking the open pits filled with water. Out priority should be to curb the root cause. We kill one mosquito and 10 comes after it.
One more thing is that we think that we are always right and never wrong. Of course every side in war thinks so but what is require is that coexistence is the solution and not bombing each other. Remove the barriers of religion, cast and any kind of difference to make us whole again. But thats a highly wishful thinking.
Well, thats not the problem with our judicial system alone. In fact, our constitution or so called “law of the land” is also the longest constitution of the world, and took the longest time ever for a constitution to be written. Blame it on super smart lawyers we had after the independence movement, who wrote such laws, no lay man can understand.
There is another hidden problem which we never noticed.
Each and every unique ruling of the Supreme Court is a law in itself. While fighting your case you can base your claim on a ruling given by Supreme Court in some case earlier.
Due to the above fact, the laws become even more complicated and half of our laws are over 100 years old and many of the clauses carry no relevance in this day.
