An epic about to finish
Its late 3 in the night morning and yeah its Sunday. Just to inform the whole world that an epic named Engineering is about to finish. This is going to be the last engineering of my life. I had thought of persuing higher studies as MS, but fear that it may too turn out as BE.
Today Yesterday, Sat, 25th October was that auspicious day which marked the closing ceremony of the sessionals in our engineering career. We have five papers this semester. The last paper was Visual C++ which is named as Design of Windows Application. What a bullshit? Its an utter waste of engineer’s patience. I was struggling with MFC and anything closely related to VC++. This paper recieved a lot of bad reviews from all seniors earlier. Just have to give a semester paper for this. My piece of advise to my juniors and friends is that - “Dont be a fool to pick up Visual C++ as a new technology to learn. Its pure bullshit and very very old“.
Oh yeah, by the way I came across two pics on Mrinal’s Camera. Posting them here. First one is the one taken on my birthday eve in Rock’s(Ankur Bansal) room. Its a pic to cherish. The second one is quite controversial. Just guess what is being done in the pic…..

WestInd Country Club : Anchit’s Party
Ever had a Birthday party inside a swimming pool? We people are fed up of birthdays in dics! So here comes something new. One of my friend Anchit had his birthday party on Saturday at WestInd Country Club which had a swimming pool which we used as a dance floor 
There was no DJ from the owners of the Club but we people did all the DJing ourselves. This saved not only the costs but also gave us a chance to shout and scream at the DJ everytime we didnt like at the song. These all are part of the fun, especially Abhas had to listen to lots of screams as sometimes he was unable to handle his work. 
Anokh! You dedicated a song? Was it you really?
Thanks a lot to Anchit for this wonderful party and over that his excellent hospitality in treating the guests. Was feeling quite cold when we returned back to hostel. More than 100 pics have been taken from Rock’s camera + Swap’s mobile + Mrinal’s Mobile. Hope to get them ASAP. Will surely put up the previews here.

Swap’s Birthday
Looks like there’s no end to birthday parties at discs. This semester is completely loaded with parties. Still many left to come.
Yesterday was the birthday party of one of my friends- Swaroop Hegde . Better read it shortly as Swap so that you dont blast out the “roo” out of his name. As usual the dance floor at Blue Waters was set on fire with the enthusiam of our section’s guys and gals. Not much to say, he invited the whole class. Had unparalleled fun at that place.

Blue Waters
So finally my dreams were fulfilled. I had long hoped for a chance to be at Blue Waters which came true this Monday on the occasion of my friend’s Bday Party! Amit- My First Year friend, had given me an invitation two weeks back itself so that I dont get engaged in some other work on this auspicious day! The dance floor was rocking, so was the company. I didnt have a booze but fooled everyone saying that I took two! 
I didnt expect gals to turn up at this event when the place is so secluded! But since gals were in large number ( some 8-9 I guess ) , they didnt came to show up their face. A pleasent surprise, I didnt get chance to say a Hi or Hello, still the party rocked At the end, all the drinkers has gone to a different world and it was our duty to bring them to safe haven.

LUG Manipal Workshop & Blue Waters
As usual am late in blogging about any event. On Saturday we ended our two day workshop on “Using Linux”. The turnout was not as much as we expected, still the event was satisfactory. We need to change our way of thinking for the future events, the way of organizing events as in present scenario pulling the people to the event is a tough job.
On the second day we invited our sponsor Swaroop Hegde from Racked Hosting to introduce him to our LUG members. He gave a nice and appropriate speech on his experiences on activities in this college. RH has some more plans in his mind to boost the turnout and activities of the group. Check out the Press Release on their site relating to the sponsorship.
Secondly India won the fourth match of the Commonwealth Bank series. Ishaan Sharma is at his height of glory. He is being dubbed as the next big thing in the world of bowling. Hope India continue their victory in the upcoming matches.
Thirdly, today am invited to Blue Water on the occasion of my friend’s bday. The environment will be quite joyful, lots of dance and booze. Hope am not forced! You smell something burning?

Inspired by Youngers
The title may look a bit weird, though its cent percent correct. My younger brother is my source of inspiration these days. He has been performing excellently in his academics and extra-curricular too. He is also in school football team.
Today was the Annual Day at Delhi Public School ( read DPS ) , his very own school. Getting scholar badges, blue blazer, blue ties has become quite regular and day to day stuff for him. He got his prize for his hard work and labour without asking anything. Guess what? A cordless headphone with FM support. Well it may not be much interest for us, but at that tender age, it has some weight. And yes! His birthday was on 29th January. Happy Birthday Ashish!

Loads of Bday Parties
As usual I am late in blogging, well this birthday party was at Purple Ace of one of my close friend Ankur aka Rock. His Bday was on 10th September but as usual he gave the party as i did along with 3 other people. The party was awesome, people rocked the dance floor especially we section-B guys except the gals who were missing.
Moving on the the cricket end. After winning the first match by 5 wickets, they set to face the Pakis again tomorrow, may god help them.
And finally but not the least, updates from the adacdemics side. Today was the lab sessional of networks lab. We people got pretty easy question. Completed it in quarter past a hour and left the lab first. Sometimes I do have an achievement.
