For me god is nothing but an artificial fear factor injected into mortal brains, just to force them to live in a healthy and mannered way. If people are taught that this is the only life you have,there is nothing called afterlife and there wont be any reviews of your sins after you die(Which is reality), then all will become desperate and situation will be unmanageable. So even though your observations are absolutely correct, god is required for a healthy society. And animal sacrifice? lets not opine here ;) Nice observations.
