Am back at home after a tiring train journey from Manipal to Ranchi. I had to board three trains, one after the another to reach my destination. Howsoever long the distance may be, the worst part is traveling alone.
I would be leaving back to Manipal on 9th January which means exactly one month of holidays. Going back home after a gap of one year makes it even more sweeter. Don’t have elaborate plans for this time, but the first thing I did was to meet the elders, take their blessings and have snacks which I miss a lot at Manipal.
I would be joining my next semester internship at Racked Hosting from 13th of January. Since I have to stay at Mumbai for two days due to some urgent work, I would be able to reach back for work on Tuesday morning. Just hope that a great amount of expectations would be awaited from both sides, where I would put my best effort. Forget, my work experience in last summer.
Some hours back I came to know about the result of Honeywell Internship offer. 20 of my college students had gone to Bangalore for the interviews. Ten of them got selected, which includes one from CS , nine from Electronics and IT. From one angle it looks like a joke, since Comp Sc has always been forefront in all such exams and offers. The reality is that EnC and IT have surpassed CS this time. All of my CS friends had to return back empty handed. Well it doesn’t matter,life is too big to be depressed in the initial stage.
